Beginning in Basrah, the journey continues through Karbala, Babylon and Baghdad before travelling north towards Samarra, Sulaymaniyah, Dukan Lake and Erbil.

Depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Sharjah before connecting onward to Basrah.

Spend the day exploring Basrah according to the scheduled full-day programme.
Day 2Basrah → Chubaisyh → Karbala
Depart Basrah and travel via Chubaisyh before continuing to Karbala.
Day 3Basrah → Chubaisyh → Karbala
Continue the scheduled programme along the Basrah, Chubaisyh and Karbala route.
Day 4Karbala → Babylon → Baghdad
Depart Karbala and travel through Babylon before continuing to Baghdad.
Day 5Baghdad
Spend the day discovering Baghdad according to the scheduled tour programme.
Day 6Baghdad
Continue with a second full-day programme in Baghdad.
Day 7Baghdad → Samarra → Sulaymaniyah
Depart Baghdad and travel through Samarra before continuing north to Sulaymaniyah.
Day 8Baghdad → Samarra → Sulaymaniyah
Continue the scheduled programme along the Baghdad, Samarra and Sulaymaniyah route.
Day 9Sulaymaniyah → Dukan Lake → Erbil
Depart Sulaymaniyah, travel through Dukan Lake and continue to Erbil.
Day 10Erbil → Sharjah
Depart Erbil for Sharjah and begin the journey back to Malaysia.
Day 11Sharjah → Kuala Lumpur
Depart Sharjah for Kuala Lumpur, concluding the 12-day Iraq & Kurdistan journey.
